Weather can be unpredictable sometimes, so having a few Kelowna indoor activities in your back pocket is always nice. Here are a few extra fun places my Kelowna loves. You need to visit them, rainy day or not!
Three Super Fun Kelowna Indoor Activities
The EnergyPlex
The EnergyPlex is a family-owned and operated Kelowna Indoor Activity. Brought to life by Kelowna locals Eric and Caro Brouwer in 2011. As Kelowna’s largest indoor entertainment center, EnergyPlex features laser tag, SkyTrax high rope climbing, Ballistix ball shooting arena, a 30-foot rock wall, a four-level playground, a toddler area, concessions, and an arcade. They also plan to expand the arcade as well as add a bar and lounge! Located at #130-948 McCurdy Road, EnergyPlex is a cool, fun spot to hang out! They even offer parties and day camps for children 6 years to 11 years old!
H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre
Located at 4075 Gordon Drive, H20 Adventure + Fitness Centre is a world-class destination. Seeing as it is Canada’s largest municipal waterpark! Owned by the City of Kelowna, H20 Adventure + Fitness Centre is operated by YMCA. Meaning they include high-quality YMCA programming for members. This programming includes health coaching, fitness classes, swim lessons, child minding, recreation programs, and specialty health programs. All super great indoor activities right here in Kelowna!
The H20 Adventure + Fitness Centre overall includes a childminding room, indoor swimming pool, family pool, waterslides and FlowRider, wave pool, lazy river, splash park, diving boards, hot tub, steam room, cycle studio, cairo, and conditioning areas, low impact fitness equipment, Queenax functional training systems, stretching area, locker rooms and showers, a universal/family locker room, and an accessibility elevator as well as a pool lift!
Although they require memberships, they do offer free trials and summer camps for children from ages 3 to 12 years old! H20 Adventure + Fitness Centre is a wonderful exclusive waterpark and fitness center with so much to offer, perfect for those days you’d rather swim inside!
Scandia Golf & Games
Scandia Golf & Games is meant to offer some fun activities for all ages of Kelowna families, both indoor and outdoor. Voted Okanagan’s favorite family fun center, Scandia Golf & Games features outdoor mini golf, indoor jungle mini golf, go-karts, batting cages, a shooting gallery, arcade games, and concessions! Their arcade offers over 140 video, skill, and redemption games and is the largest arcade in the Okanagan valley!
Their indoor jungle golf is an 18-hole course complete with waterfalls, murals, streams, and tropical jungle sounds, while the outdoor golf course features miniature scenes, flowers, ponds, fountains, and bridges over natural creek settings. Scandia Golf & Games’ Scandia Raceway offers a 1000 linear feet go-kart track with two separate overpasses and a fully lit track for nighttime racing! With their extensive activities and menus, Scandia Golf & Games also offer their space as party venues! Perfect for your next birthday party or celebration, Scandia Golf & Games has so much to offer!
