I first met this sweet family when big sister Anaya came in for her first birthday cake smash 3 years ago!! Anaya and mom had the most beautiful matching tutu’s (Diana do you still have those?? if you do, we should totally do another shoot with them!!) A few years later I had the pleasure of photographing Asher’s newborn session and now… Asher’s First Birthday Cake Smash.
Mom had the idea for a cookie monster theme cake smash and I was super excited because it was one I didn’t have a chance to create yet. I was surprised how hard it was to find cookie monster decor, even online, so I ended up letting my inner craft junkie out and DIYing a bunch of the decor for his set.
Today is Asher’s 1st Birthday so I figured I would blog his cake smash to help him celebrate 🙂 With all that is happening in the world right now, there are so many kids who don’t quite understand why they can’t have a party this year. My daughter turns 3 in a few weeks and I am racking my brain trying to come up with ideas to make her birthday extra special this year.
