Services
The team has six midwives on staff who are there to help you through every stage of pregnancy. Midwives can provide more attentive care than standard OBs. They’ll be with you for up to ninety minutes, checking your baby’s progress and talking you through any questions. One of the most significant benefits of using a Malachite Midwife is their commitment to “informed choice.” Rather than taking the reins on every aspect of your pregnancy, they’ll provide you with all the necessary information and allow you to make your own healthcare decisions. You are empowered to give birth the way you see fit! The Malachite Midwives operate out of a cozy little center where you’ll receive all your prenatal care. Once it’s show time, you can choose to have your baby in the hospital, in a birth center, or from home. You get to decide it all!

One of my favorite parts about midwives is their attention to postpartum care. Often, OBs cannot give you the individualized care you need meaning. Malachite Midwives understand the toll pregnancy and labor have on the body, which is why you will continue to receive their same fantastic care up to eight weeks after delivery.
