Planning a wedding today can be a lot of work. You’re managing a million little details and trying to get everything right. That is why finding the perfect Okanagan wedding venues is so crucial. You could spend months planning everything, but if the vibes of the wedding venue are off, it could be a potential disaster. But never fear! Okanagan has so many gorgeous venues; as a wedding photographer, I’ve gotten the chance to tour pretty much everyone. Here are some of my absolute faves.
Do you want an outdoor wedding with rays of the sun and unbelievable views? Then I think you’re going to love Sanctuary Gardens. This beautiful acreage has wildflowers, lush vineyards, mountainous views, and quaint spots perfect for trading vows. Their pavilion is large enough to host weddings for up to fifty guests. It’s a touch of rustic while remaining sophisticated. You can decorate it however you need, but between us, there’s not much you need to do to have a superb venue your guests can’t help but love. The venue has amenities and only books the land to one reservation each day, so you won’t have to worry about your private event getting crashed. You can find out more about this lovely venue here:
Couples wanting a larger outdoor wedding will fall head over heels for Brook & Barn. The open-air barn is in the middle of a family farm and offers everything you could want from a venue. The barn is charming and offers cozy seating for up to 150 guests. Your night will be lit with Edison bulbs and warmed by propane heaters. There’s an iron archway that is moveable and plenty of barn wood to keep with the aesthetic. Brook & Barn also removes the worry of an outdoor wedding with optional transparent tent walls that are installable in case of rain. You’ll have access to a lot of green space (ideal for pitching a tent) and a parking area with attendants. It’s a beautiful spot for a rustic wedding!
Are you looking for something a little more historic? The Lindon House in downtown Okanagan is ideal for outdoor weddings with an old-fashioned twist. The mansion was built in 1905 and offered extraordinary elegance for your big day. The well-maintained garden is a magnificent place for your ceremony and can hold up to 50 guests. The rental of the venue gives you access to the outdoor gardens as well as indoor restrooms. You’ll also be able to use the inside of the house, which is perfect for the first-look and wedding portraits. You can view pictures and find out all about this Okanagan gem on their website.
Finding exquisite Okanagan wedding venues will add to the overall charm of your big day. If you’re looking for an enchanting outdoor wedding venue, I’m positive you’ll love any of these three places.
