As a parent, you know how important it is to capture these treasured moments in photographs. These milestones are fleeting, and your baby will only be a baby for so long. Let's capture these moments to remember this time forever.
As a photographer specializing in baby's first year, I understand the importance of milestone sessions. My prep guide will ensure a successful session that results in the sweetest photos. I'll guide you every step of the way, from selecting outfits from my client closet to taking care of all the hard work during your session. I'll provide all the props and accessories, but if you have any special items you'd like to include, feel free to bring them along.

1. Say Hello
2. booking your session
Choose from a smaller petite session, a full signature session or membership.
Then, I will send you a proposal. Once you have accepted your proposal, paid your retainer and signed your contract, your booked!
The next step is to get your session date in my calendar and to start planning your session. You'll receive a link to choose your session date, as well as a questionnaire and my style guide.
3. session prep
At this point we will begin working on the details of your shoot. We will talk about your wardrobe options including different looks, client closet options and together we will begin to plan your session. Sessions take place in my Peachland studio and/or on location. If you have any specific requests or ideas for your shoot, please let me know. I am always open to hearing new things and love trying something new!
I will also be there to guide you through what to wear for your session, and you will have access to my client closet with plenty of gowns and outfits to choose from.
4. session day!
On the day of your session, we are going to have so much fun and your baby is going to look so precious in their photos. Expect some singing, dancing, laughter and possibly some bribery.
You are going to love be able to look back at these photos and remember your sweet baby, their tiny little details and their fun personality is going to shine.
5. your photographs
Congratulations! Your milestone session was a success. I am so excited for you, and can’t wait for you to see the images that were captured during your session.
Your online gallery reveal will be ready within 2 weeks of your session. This is when you will choose a collection. Start thinking how and where you will display these phots around your home. Schedule a consultation if you would like me to assist you in choosing items to display around your home.

These Signature Milestone Session include the full portrait session experience. It will provide enough time to do a few outfit changes, a variety of different poses, a few shots with family or siblings, as well as a cake smash if your baby is over 11 months.

We love working with Alysha so much that we keep going back! I hired her to do our daughters newborn photos, and when she was 9days old we took her to the studio, and Alysha was so amazing with her! I have no idea how she kept June calm and happy when she was generally a bit of a colicky baby. I think it really helps that she’s a mom herself, I watched her sooth my daughter right to sleep so she could get some photos of her sleeping. (I actually took some of her soothing methods home with me as a new mom and used them to get my baby to sleep at home lol) So awesome.
