Ken & Sharon | Pitt Lake Engagement Session

Sharon and I went to high school together (we won’t talk about how long ago that was haha) and since then we have crossed paths several times. Most recently we have even had the opportunity to work together, see Sharon is a make up artist, an amazing one at that, and we have had the pleasure of sharing some of the same brides 🙂

When Sharon first contacted me about photographing her wedding I was so excited. I always LOVE getting to photograph people I know and grew up with. Sharon and I met up for coffee at Starbucks and heard her talk about her fiancé, Ken, and all their wedding plans, I just knew that they were my dream clients.

We almost postponed their engagement session due to uncooperative weather, but after some chatting we decided that even if it rained, we would rock some clear umbrellas and go through with the session. I am too happy we did, the weather was perfect! We had a mix of clouds, a little rain and even a sunset. It made for some awesome pictures.

I had so much fun with these two that our session lasted over an hour and a half and I could have photographed them even longer! Over 8 years together already and the way they looked at each other so lovingly made my heart melt, I just know these two are going to be so happy together.

Now the countdown is on until their big day! In just a couple months Ken & Sharon will be Mr & Mrs! So excited to document this amazing couple on their wedding day <3
