Intimate Destination Elopement | Sharon & Ken | Pitt Meadows Wedding

Updated: May 11

Who needs a huge guest list to have an amazing wedding anyway?

After rescheduling and waiting a whole year these two finally got to tie the knot alongside a few of their closest family of friends. It may not have been the original wedding they had planned for but even with all the challenges they faced while replanning a wedding during a pandemic, it was still a day full of tears, love and laughter.

Sharon and I went to high school together and after working together a few times (she is an amazing make-up artist) I was so excited that she contacted me about photographing their wedding. When we met up for coffee at Starbucks for our first meeting I just knew we were a good fit and they were meant to be an ASP couple. Sharon shares my love for ceasars, champagne, rap music and sarcasm!

We did their engagement session early last year, you can find that blog post here. Little did we know that it would be only a few weeks later that we would be at the start of the pandemic and they were at risk of having to postpone their wedding.

I had so much fun photographing these two during their intimate Pitt Meadows wedding. Throughout the day they laughed, they cried and they beamed from ear to ear with smiles as they looked at each other. They were so relaxed and up for anything. We even hung around and spent more time doing portraits of the two of them while the rest of the wedding party went to pick up the food for the reception.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson!! I hope the first month of wedded bliss is treating you well. Marriage looks good on you two <3
